Speaking of the experience of being caught in a traffic jam, I believe everyone who lives in a cosmopolitan city had one.

It was … in Beijing when most workers were coming off work. I took a taxi from the CBD area to the capital airport. The trip normally takes less than an hour, however it took two and a half that day. The traffic jam clogged the highway north of Beijing and stretched for almost 1 kilometer. That was a pretty serious one.
